A BAD Week 13: Everything Bill and Doug wrote and said leading into Ohio State vs. Rutgers, in case you missed it
Check out the stories, videos and podcasts from Bill and Doug this week.

COLUMBUS — Ohio State has 32 seasons of at least 10 wins, thanks to last week’s win over UCLA. That’s the third-most all-time behind Alabama (44) and Oklahoma (42).
Last week’s win was also win No. 1,000 in the history of Ohio State football, but the Buckeyes didn’t do a postgame drone show spelling out “We’ve won a grand,” because of those 12 vacated wins from the 2010 season. Those are not part of the official record, so Ohio State couldn’t have a celebration for 1,000 because the NCAA would get mad.
But we can count however we want to, and Ohio State has won 1,000 games on the field, becoming the second program to do that along with Michigan.
The Buckeyes have six more potential wins out there the rest of this season, and if they get to 16-0, then the official marking of 1,000 could come next September.
Now, for the week that was for Bill and Doug, including the four parts of our series on Ohio State offensive line recruiting.
OFFENSIVE LINE WEEK CONTENT
Inside The Lineman Lab: The training ground helping build Ohio State's future offensive line
AVON, Ohio — The lab looks like an airplane hangar. Tucked between a swath of still undeveloped land and the French Creek Family YMCA, a few 100 feet past the left field wall of ForeFront Field — the 5,000-seat home of the Lake Erie Crushers — and three miles south of the lake that lends its name to that independent baseball team, sits T3 Performance.
A challenge, a plan and a safety net: The offensive linemen forming the backbone of Ohio State's recruiting
COLUMBUS — Ohio State offensive line coach Tyler Bowen visited Lakewood St. Edward High School in the spring and presented a plan to offensive lineman Mason Wilhelm.
Ohio State offensive line recruiting in Ohio -- both a new trend and a swing back to the old ways: Offensive Line Week
COLUMBUS — Ohio State football featuring young men from Ohio on the offensive line is a way of life, a fundamental part of Buckeye football. From Gomer Jones in the 1930s, to Charles Csuri in the ‘40s, to Jim Parker and Bill Willis in the ‘50s, to Dave Foley in the ‘60s, to John Hicks in the ‘70s to Jim Lachey in the ‘80s to Orlando Pace in the ‘90s, the Buckeyes’ best blockers were typically homegrown.

YAGWOBAD (Yet Another Great Week Of Bill And Doug). All the usual accolades apply. The rewatch brought its usual clarity. The large fellows got their day and pretty much the whole week.
It reminds me to point out that the thing that made the Super Sophs (my OSU classmates - we all arrived the Fall of 67) bounce right back from a freakishly great TD run in the Rose Bowl and therefore the national championship was a pair of senior offensive tackles, Rufus Mayes - All Big 10 and Dave Foley - consensus All American.
Saving the best news for last, It wasn’t your fault! At the bottom of Ayaan Hrisi Ali’s, “The Genocide Lie” (as cheerless and non- uplifting as the title suggests) was a big fat orange “Gift a Subscription” button. It wasn’t your fault! It was never your fault. Substack drops your work into their grammatical atrocity. It wasn’t BAD. It was Substack!
