A BAD Week 2: Everything Bill and Doug said and wrote, in case you missed it

COLUMBUS — It’s been a BAD week as we continue to ramp up with Bill And Doug (that’s the BAD we are referencing here) and we don’t want you to miss anything.
So we’ll try this out on Friday afternoons/evenings and see what you think. It’s links to everything we did this week, both on Substack and on our free YouTube and podcast channels.
This is only a reference to help to you. So we’ll see how it goes and if you guys think it’s unnecessary or getting in the way, and not many people want it, we’ll ditch it.
For this Week 2 of the college football season, before Ohio State kicks off vs. Grambling State at 3:30 on Saturday, here is your Bill and Doug week in review.
SATURDAY
Ohio State's message in beating No. 1 Texas? A championship defense still resides in Columbus
COLUMBUS — Ryan Day exited his position behind the lectern in Ohio State’s postgame interview room and made his way for the door that leads to the stairs that wind down to the Buckeyes’ locker room in the south end of Ohio Stadium. Waiting by the door, leaning against the frame like he was worn out from running a marathon, was new defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
SUNDAY
Ohio State, inheriting the Alabama model, is the biggest bully it's ever been
COLUMBUS — Let’s say Ohio State’s win over No. 1 Texas on Saturday was really about the Longhorns fading in the afternoon sun in Columbus. Texas coach Steve Sarkisian talked a lot in his postgame news conference about how young his team was in key spots.
MONDAY

FRIDAY
Rudy Hubbard and Ohio State's tie to HBCU football history
I was supposed to write this story four years ago. I reached out to Rudy Hubbard in February of 2021. He had recently been announced as a member of the new College Football Hall of Fame class. The Athletic, where I was working at the time, was doing a series of stories for Black History Month. It seemed like a good time to talk to Hubbard about his story, given his recent honor.
