A BAD Week 7: Everything Bill and Doug wrote and said leading into Ohio State vs. Illinois, in case you missed it
The No. 1 Buckeyes kick off at noon Saturday, so get caught up before gametime

COLUMBUS — Ohio State will play in Champaign for the first time in a decade on Saturday when the Buckeyes visit Illinois for a noon kickoff on Fox.
Because a 2020 trip was canceled by COVID, Ohio State’s last visit to what is now called Gies Memorial Stadium came on Nov. 14, 2015, when Ezekiel Elliott ran for 181 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-3 Ohio State win.
Since their last loss to Illinois in 2007, the Buckeyes have won nine straight in the series by an average score of 39-14.
Ohio State has won 11 straight in Champaign, with the last OSU loss there coming in 1991 by a 10-7 score.
We’ll have a live postgame show on our YouTube channel right after the game (we’ll keep that immediate postgame plan for now) and then another postgame show at 11 PM after the primetime games where we’ll talk about Michigan-USC, Oregon-Indiana, Texas-Oklahoma and other later games.
Here’s everything we did this week leading into this matchup between the No. 1 and No. 17 teams in the country.
