Arvell Reese is 'special' even when he's not hitting QBs, but Ohio State is ready to activate him

Reese's pass-rushing numbers have stalled, but he's still making an impact.

COLUMBUS — Matt Patricia’s smile stretched ear to ear. One of those diabolical Grinch smiles befitting the season. Asked if Arvell Reese, Ohio State’s talented linebacker, is at the point that he’s impacting games via sheer reputation, Patricia couldn’t hide his glee.

“Yeah, that's definitely happened,” he said.

Reese had 6.5 sacks in his first eight games.

He’s still sitting on 6.5 sacks.
