Arvell Reese is 'the best player in the draft,' and it's too bad he didn't get to show it more at Ohio State
A three-year player and one-year starter for the Buckeyes, Reese could go as high as No. 2 in the NFL Draft.

INDIANAPOLIS — His name was listed as Vell at the NFL Scouting Combine this week. On the list of attendees, on the nameplate on the podium for interviews, it read Vell Reese.
Was Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese redefining himself, embarking on a new life in the NFL with a new name?
“No, no, no,” the Ohio State All-American said. “Arvell. Arvell. Arvell.”
Guess it was an NFL typo. It turned out his combine name was just like his Ohio State career.
Too short.
“It’s too bad this wasn’t his sophomore year,” said Dane Brugler, NFL Draft analyst for The Athletic.
Brugler had another take on Reese.
“He is, in my opinion, the best player in the draft.”
We barely saw it in Columbus.
