COLUMBUS — Ohio State enters Big Ten play ranking 10th in the conference in rushing yards per game with 158.7 and 11th in yards per carry with 4.58. It’s not where the Buckeyes expected to be at this point in the season.
Three games in, with a veteran offensive line and a returning 1,000-yard rusher at running back, OSU’s run game is still very much a work in progress.
However, if you squint (and maybe take a slightly more generous point of view), you can see some steps in the right direction.
