Recapping all the Bill and Doug content from this week
Since our last weekly newsletter, Bill and Doug did a national quarterback draft with Matt Fortuna of The Inside Zone and then produced their own Top 10 quarterback lists for this season. The guys also spoke with Cleveland native and Kent State head coach Mark Carney to preview Ohio State’s Week 3 matchup with the Golden Flashes. In addition, there were a number of Ohio State and national college football topics to cover. From Big Ten spring meetings to the Buckeye stripe returning to OSU uniforms, here is your weekly guide to all podcasts and articles from Bill and Doug.
Stay tuned next week for the Week 4 preview of the Buckeyes’ 2026 schedule, as Bill and Doug will be discussing the Illibuck matchup between Ohio State and Illinois. Also, next week marks 15 years since Jim Tressel’s departure from Ohio State; the guys will take a look back at that on the Wednesday Substack show.

My podcast pick this week
Build your ideal Ohio State team with 3 Points and a Player, plus Whatcha (Subscriber only)
Bill and Doug are the best at listening to their fans. After the idea came up for 3 Points and a Player, they sent out a call for Substack subscribers to submit their opinions. The concept is simple: if you were building the ultimate version of Ohio State, what three things would that team have, e.g., dual-threat QB, disruptive linebacker pair, etc. Then pick one player that exemplifies that style of play. The guys read subscriber comments and pick out common themes. They also share their own 3 Points and a Player picks.
