COLUMBUS — Ryan Day has said a couple times this spring that he likes Ohio State’s depth.
“I do think that we have more depth probably in this team here, just across the board, than some of the teams we’ve had in the past,” Day said Tuesday. “As you go through each position, you recognize depth. Now the question is, who’s going to step up and be those high-end players, those impact players that are going to produce?”
That’s a question for another day, and it’s frankly the question we spend much of our time on. Who are Ohio State’s future stars?
But depth does matter, so on this episode we ran through every position group and set a standard for how many players should be able to be relied upon in that group.
And when we decided how many players in each group will be ready by the start of the season, and whether that position group is under or over the standard.
The show ended with Whatcha on Project Hail Mary, Trader Joe’s, Cow Tales and thoughts on April Fools’ Day.
