INDIANAPOLIS — Davison Igbinosun’s arm measurement at the NFL Combine last week was 32 7/8 inches.

That ranked third among 32 corners at the combine. Igbinosun will become the 13th Ohio State corner drafted in the last 13 years, and among that OSU group, only Shaun Wade (33 1/2) and Gareon Conley (33) had longer arms.

Arm length isn’t everything. Denzel Ward was down the list of OSU corner arm length, and he was the No. 4 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and is in the argument for best corner in the league.

But reach matters for Igbinosun. He leaned on it when asked for his best traits as a corner.

“My physical ability at the line of scrimmage,” Igbinosun said during his combine media session. “I have long arms, I can play press man, disrupt the timing (of a receiver). I would say I attack very well.”

Those arms got him in trouble sometimes. His penalty problems in 2024 are well-documented, when his 16 penalties led all FBS defenders among 134 teams. Did that come up with team interviews at the combine?

“They definitely do ask,” Igbinosun said with a smile.
