COLUMBUS — New Ohio State offensive coordinator Arthur Smith met the media for the first time after Tuesday’s practice, the Buckeyes’ third of the spring. Here are four things to know about what Smith said.

Arthur Smith has a reputation as a coach who likes to run the ball and play a lot with multiple tight ends — we’ll allow you some time to recover from that last bit, which may sound like nails on a chalkboard to a fanbase who saw the tight end featured heavily, to mixed results, last year.

“No,” he said. “I got asked if I gave the ball too many times to Derrick Henry, and I’d argue that I didn’t.”
