COLUMBUS — Ryan Day stood frozen on the sideline as Luke Fahey absorbed a fourth-down sack in the fourth quarter Saturday, emitting the last dying breath of a game gone wrong.

After a fast start that saw Ohio State score touchdowns on two of their first three drives, the Buckeyes unraveled as a true freshman quarterback looked overwhelmed in a 41-28 loss to Oregon.
