COLUMBUS — Ohio State beat Illinois 42-19 on Saturday and Doug and Bill jumped on the mics from Ohio Stadium to break down the OSU win.
On their immediate show on YouTube they talked a lot about the huge games from Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayin, as Smith had 12 catches for 217 yards and four touchdowns. Sayin was 27 of 36 for 367 yards and those four touchdowns to Smith, plus he ran seven times for 29 yards and a touchdown.
Much of the discussion here turned toward the OSU defense, which gave up 462 yards to the Illini. Where can the Buckeyes’ defense get better, and where are they likely to stay who they are?
