1. Let’s talk injuries. Here’s what Day said about a few key players.
On receivers Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate: “They’re doing everything they can to play in the game. We’ll see how today goes, but they’re working really hard to get back on the field.”
And then, a follow-up on how much they’d need to practice this week to play.
“That’s probably something for the medical staff to figure out,” Day said. “When they give us the thumbs up, we’ll go. But they’ll be getting physical reps and mental reps all week in preparation. These guys have played a lot of football. They’re gonna do everything they can to get on that field.”
