COLUMBUS — Ohio State football is in the midst of its build-up toward the 2026 season, with players' summer workouts getting started at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center as the staff does a lot of recruiting legwork through camps and visits this month.

I put a call out for some questions I hope to answer during a BAD Solo Sessions podcast this weekend (please feel free to submit more questions in the comments below, or in the chat), and there were a few that I wanted to write about since we haven’t done a written mailbag in a while.

Let’s get to it.

DJones: Should Ohio State fans be on alert for potential friction between Ryan Day and Arthur Smith as it relates to playcalling? It seems you could easily envision a situation where both would lean toward their respective expertise, Smith wanting to be run-heavy and Day wanting to be pass-heavy. How do you think that gets worked out internally? And, more importantly, am I a psychopath for trying to look for hypothetical problems in June, well before they could even potentially exist?
