Thoughts on what we heard from Ryan Day on Tuesday.

COLUMBUS — Three thoughts on what we heard from Ohio State head coach Ryan Day on Tuesday ahead of the Buckeyes’ game against Purdue on Saturday.
1. Ohio State is dealing with some bumps and bruises, and perhaps something more, along the offensive line. We just don’t know exactly who’s in the best shape and who might not be available on Saturday.
Starting guards Tegra Tshabola and Luke Montgomery, as well as rotational guard Josh Padilla, all left last week’s game against Penn State with injuries. Padilla appeared to be rolled up on during the play in which running back C.J. Donaldson fumbled at the end of the first half. Tshabola and Montgomery encountered similar situations on runs during the Buckeyes’ final drive of the game.
