COLUMBUS — Ryan Day held a news conference Sunday after Ohio State was announced as the No. 2 seed in the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes will play in the Cotton Bowl on Dec. 31 against the winner of the first-round game between No. 7 Texas A&M and No. 10 Miami.
Day spent most of the news conference analyzing Saturday night’s loss to Indiana after he said he stayed up rewatching the 13-10 defeat to the Hoosiers, who are the No. 1 seed in the playoff.
He discussed personnel packages, the decision-making at the end of the first half and the targets for Carnell Tate, and then continued to explain the play with Brian Hartline.
We recorded the news conference above, and then got on YouTube to share our thoughts on what Day said.
