Of the new coaches in the Big Ten, who do you believe will have the most success in their new positions? Whittingham at Michigan? Fitzgerald at Michigan State? Chesney at UCLA? Campbell at Penn State? And which of them do you expect to have the least success?
I liked a lot what Coach Whittingham said about hate being a strong word, and respecting Coach Day. I think the rivalry needs more of that, and I do not love seeing fellow Ohio State fans laugh at him for saying it. I am intrigued by how a new coaching staff up there impacts Day. Do you guys see any value in the notion that game planning from a place of more respect for the opposing coaching staff can make preparation even sharper?
One thing that stood out to me listening to Ryan Day was he said something about Phil Daniels possibly moving positions. I believe going into spring many speculated Daniels could move to guard that idea was shot down by Ryan Day. What changed in your opinion? I could see a line that looks like Sierveld Montgomery Hinzman Padilla Moore. Thoughts on this? Thanks for the great work you do.
Hi guys. Thanks for all of the coverage. Were there any questions - or comments from the players or Coach Day - that gave a hint as to who this year’s captains may be? And specifically who will be wearing the block O?
One aspect of the upcoming schedule is many will be physical wars. This may and often times comes with attrition. Every season, even in seasons with relatively easier schedules you can many times figure you will lose 2-3 starters to injuries over the season. Asking the scary question, who are the 2-3-4 players Ohio State can least afford to lose which would dramatically change their national championship hopes ? Or, asked differently, who are the 2-3-4 players Ohio State could not adequately replace over the course of the season due to injuries at stay at national championship potential level ?
Were you guys able to pickup on any different opinions from coaches on the 24-team playoff? Curious if different head coaches seemed to especially advocate for it, especially if their team would potentially benefit from it. Thanks!
Are coaches bound by contract to glaze the conference commissioner for 5 minutes straight in their opening statement? This year seemed awfully excessive. Nothing against Petitti I guess I just didn’t realize he walks on water 🤷♂️

We talked about this a lot on Wednesday’s show FYI

Is it surprising that Day wasn't really part of the chorus hyping up the Big Ten?
