YouTube show: Ohio State offensive line recruiting and strategy
As part of Offensive Line Week, Doug and Bill posted a show talking offensive line recruiting strategy and the offensive line commits in the 2026 class.
COLUMBUS — We don’t often post our YouTube shows here, but we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss the second piece of Offensive Line Week with Bill Doug.
We covered most of the 2026 Ohio State recruiting class on our Wednesday show for subscribers.
This show delves into the five OSU offensive line recruits in the 2026 class, and looks at some of the misses, the adjustments and the long-term O-line strategy.
Plus, we usually do Whatcha Watching, Eating and Thinking on the Wednesday show, but we moved it to this Thursday show and we didn’t want you to miss that, either.
Thanks as always for being here.

OFFENSIVE LINE WEEK WITH BILL AND DOUG
Ohio State offensive line recruiting in Ohio -- both a new trend and a swing back to the old ways: Offensive Line Week
COLUMBUS — Ohio State football featuring young men from Ohio on the offensive line is a way of life, a fundamental part of Buckeye football. From Gomer Jones in the 1930s, to Charles Csuri in the ‘40s, to Jim Parker and Bill Willis in the ‘50s, to Dave Foley in the ‘60s, to John Hicks in the ‘70s to Jim Lachey in the ‘80s to Orlando Pace in the ‘90s, the Buckeyes’ best blockers were typically homegrown.
A challenge, a plan and a safety net: The offensive linemen forming the backbone of Ohio State's recruiting
COLUMBUS — Ohio State offensive line coach Tyler Bowen visited Lakewood St. Edward High School in the spring and presented a plan to offensive lineman Mason Wilhelm.
Inside The Lineman Lab: The training ground helping build Ohio State's future offensive line
AVON, Ohio — The lab looks like an airplane hangar. Tucked between a swath of still undeveloped land and the French Creek Family YMCA, a few 100 feet past the left field wall of ForeFront Field — the 5,000-seat home of the Lake Erie Crushers — and three miles south of the lake that lends its name to that independent baseball team, sits T3 Performance.

I had the Philly Mob documentary on my list to watch and now will not be watching after Bill’s comments. 🤣
Lived in Brussels, Belgium for 15 yrs my kids grew up on Biscoff / Speculoos - they make a speculoos flavored drink at Universal called butter beer - served like a slushy - which I’ve seen at other venues. Rather funny for me
to hear your fascination with the flavor. And Doug you would speak with a French or Dutch accent not British…😏
