AUSTIN, Texas — Ohio State remains an underdog of 1.5 points for Saturday’s kickoff with the Texas Longhorns, and on this edition of Betting the Buckeyes, Tyler Shoemaker and Doug Lesmerises talk about the best plays for that major showdown.
The total for the game has moved from 48.5 points early in the week to 49.5 points now, which makes betting the under slightly less attractive. But TShoe’s numbers still say that the over is the play, and Doug agrees.
The team total at 24.5 points for Ohio State might be more interesting. That would allow you to believe in the OSU offense without the threat of Steve Sarkisian and Arch Manning laying an egg and ruining the game over.
The idea of this show for subscribers every Friday is a fun betting conversation that lets you in on TShoe’s view of the Buckeyes. And we’ll offer at least one play inside the OSU game each week if you’re interested in sprinkling a little on Ohio State.
