Ohio State's 10 best transfer additions, and 3 biggest transfer losses, of the Ryan Day era
Doug and Bill discuss portal movement in the Day era.
COLUMBUS — In the transfer portal era, Ohio State’s portal ins have been far more impactful than its portal outs. Can the Buckeyes continue to find themselves almost always on the right side of those transactions? Will there be eventual stars who blossom out of the large group of transfers who just left the program? Will any of the incoming transfers be among the most impactful of the Ryan Day era?
Doug and Bill tackled those questions on a free episode of The Bill & Doug Show, which you can watch in the YouTube video above. But first, we’re ranking the 10 biggest impact transfers of the Day era, and the three biggest losses.

For transfers out I was thinking about Quinn Ewers just for that 2023 season. Obviously taking CJ for 2022 and probably Will Howard over Ewers in 2024 but I think Ewers would definitely have been better than McCord in 2023.
Bill was dying to include a punter!
