For transfers out I was thinking about Quinn Ewers just for that 2023 season. Obviously taking CJ for 2022 and probably Will Howard over Ewers in 2024 but I think Ewers would definitely have been better than McCord in 2023.
Paused and played along with my own list. I had 9/10 with each but I didn’t include Simmons. Doug on that one pod a few years back must’ve soured my opinion on him!
Fields also played 12 games at UGA, had almost 200 snaps, threw 39 passes and rushed 42 times. He actually played quite a bit for a true freshman backup QB.
Wow I didn't remember him getting that much of a look. Guess those few odd special teams trick plays was what stuck in mind the most. Thanks for stats and insights as always!

What differentiates how you consider Fields versus Sayin? JF did have a full season at UGA but played very few QB snaps there.
