What do you think of Indiana football? Hate the Hoosiers and Curt Cignetti? Annoyed by them? Respect them? Worried about them? Think they're a fluke?
We'll be talking more about the Hoosiers and want your input.

COLUMBUS — Indiana is favored by 1.5 points over Ohio State for the matchup between the Hoosiers and Buckeyes in Bloomington on Oct. 17. That’s according to an early line on FanDuel.
So what are you thinking about the Hoosiers when it comes to that game, their place in the Big Ten, and where they stand in relation to Ohio State after beating the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship Game last season?
We’re working ahead a bit as we balance some time off for both of us this summer, and we want to talk Hoosiers on a Wednesday Substack show. The week of June 15 will be something of an Indiana week on the site. We’ll have our preview show with an Indiana writer that week, and we want to go a little deeper on the Hoosiers.
So we want your input.
Here are some questions to get your vibes on the Hoosiers and to delve into a second question: Could Indiana become something of a second rival for Ohio State?
I think there have been a variety of second rivals that have popped up and receded over at least the last 20 years of Ohio State football.
Michigan State had a moment, as did Clemson. Penn State has always been around in a way. Wisconsin, in the era of Bo Ryan in men’s basketball and Bret Bielema in football, became a multi-sport annoyance for the Buckeyes for a few years. Maybe the SEC as a whole was a rival at times. Texas has popped up in two versions of mini-rivalries two decades apart.
Is Indiana now entering the picture?
We went from Ohio State handling the Hoosiers in 2024 and mocking Curt Cignetti’s “Google Me” line, to Indiana getting revenge on the way to an undefeated natty a year ago.
What’s the future of Ohio State vs. Indiana?
Please share any comments you have about the Hoosiers and Curt Cignetti at the bottom of the post. Also, curious for any thoughts you have about the history and future of a second rival for the Buckeyes, and whether that idea is possible.
And please answer any of the poll questions you have an opinion on.
Thanks as always.

Utmost respect for the turnaround. It makes literally no sense that Cignetti could orchestrate such an ascension from a historically abysmal program, even acknowledging the transformation that the transfer portal has brought upon College Football. I'd never afford a second rival status on the same tier as Michigan, but I do think IU and Oregon are to OSU today what Penn State and Wisconsin/Mich St were over the 2010s
I wish I could vote that I both hate and respect Indiana
